Medium ruby colour in the glass. Smoky, fruity and savoury; aromas of dark cherry, charred oak, bramble, plum and charcuterie float from the glass. Plump, silky and intensely flavoursome, the palate is brimming with liquorice and black forest fruits- cherry, blackberry, plum and boysenberry- kissed with smoky, toasty oak and a hint of dark chocolate.The tannins are supple and fine, teasing out the long, mouth-watering finish.
Crafted from Pinot Noir Grapes grown at the Pencarrow, Pinnacles & Woolshed Vineyards.Fermented with some whole cluster and wild yeast, before 10 months ageing in French Oak, of which 25% new.
Food Pairing: Enjoy with Peking Duck, Beef Bourguignon or a juicy T-bone steak, medium rare. Delicious now, this will continue to improve through 2027 and drink through 2030.
